Latex Stockings

FAQS
What is the biggest challenge when putting on full-length latex stockings, and how is it overcome?
The challenge is pulling the tight material up the entire leg, especially over the knee and calf muscles. This is overcome by liberally applying silicone dressing aid to the entire leg. Roll the stocking up slowly, pushing from the foot upwards using flat palms and being careful not to stretch the top cuff too wide.
Should I size latex stockings based on foot size or thigh circumference?
Thigh Circumference (or calf circumference for knee-high socks) is the most critical measurement. While foot size matters for comfort, the thigh circumference determines if the top band will fit snugly without tearing, cutting off circulation, or constantly rolling down.
How can I prevent the top cuff of the stockings from rolling down or sagging during wear?
Ensure accurate sizing (Q2) and use specialized latex glue/adhesive. Apply a thin line of latex garment glue (e.g., silicone-based body adhesive) to the inner edge of the cuff and the skin where it sits. Alternatively, use garter belts or suspenders specifically designed to clip onto the latex cuff without tearing it.
How should I clean and dry the delicate seams and top bands of thin latex stockings?
Handle with extreme care. Hand-wash gently in lukewarm water with latex cleaner. Do not wring, twist, or scrub the seams or the top band. Lay them flat on a soft towel to air dry, or hang them in a dark, well-ventilated area. Never hang them using clothespins directly on the latex, which causes indentations/tears.
